On July 1, 2024 at 4:00 in the afternoon, Luong Thi Thu made her First Profession at the Capilla de la Sagrada Familia which was presided by Fr. Hoa, SJ from the Sacred Heart Novitiate and Retreat Center. For such a significant day, five members of her family came over from Ha Nam, her hometown in Northern Vietnam (Hanoi). Four of them are her aunts from both mother and father side, and the other one is her sister in-law, the wife of her younger brother. The sisters who attended the Annual Retreat from the Luzon and Visayas clusters, some Lay Josephine’s and friends from the community of the Little Sisters of Jesus in Mandaluyong were likewise present in this meaningful event. The Mass ended at around 5:00 in the afternoon, followed by a simple Agape.
